Digital Security Course (with live session) AFE

The purpose of this course

is to enable learners to understand and apply digital security measures that protect them and the people they work with from malicious activity.


To successfully complete this course, it is required to:

  • Complete all modules
  • Attend all the live sessions on Zoom
  • Pass the final assessment
  • A certificate will be given to those who successfully complete the course.

Mahdy Charafeddin

has been a Gender and Sexuality human rights activist since 2005. He studied Information Technology and Programming. He currently trains on social security, security planning and digital security. He has also written booklets on the subjects of sexual health, gender and sexuality training, people living with HIV, how to work within conservative environments. Charafeddin has worked with different refugee groups in Lebanon and trained many organizations in both Lebanon and Jordan about comprehensive service provision for diverse social groups, he has also trained many groups on SOGIE issues and sexual health around the MENA region. Charafeddin currently works as an associate director and director of programs at the Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality and the director of the gender and sexuality MENA region conference NEDWA.
